Introduction:
- “Gir Pachhat Jati Vikas Seva Samiti” is a non government organisation which registered under the Bombay public trust act, 1950 and society registration act,1860. The trust has established one prime objective that is to put some efforts in the field of rural development through field based initiatives. So that we had initiated some activities in the developmental sectors like health, education, rural development, community development, environment and so on. For achieve the trust’s objective, we had organised many programs for the development of rural areas with the help of individual donors as well as government department. Whenever we had organised such kind of the wonderful programs, we got best community support for implement any kind of the task.
- In our country there are many social problems like poverty, illiteracy, unemployment, child labour, women exploitation etc. so Organisation has focuses on the major social issues which exist in present scenario. So our Organisation has working on that issues and try to provide them continues support and guidance to the community. Our trust has mainly focus on the overall development of the rural community. So that different kind of the programs is initiated by our organisation for providing the solution of that kind f the problems. Our organisation has initiated different kind of the community development as well as rural development programs by getting support from donor and community participation.

- Objectives:
- I. For educational development purpose established and maintained various educational institutions such as Junior K.G., Senior K.G., Primary School, Secondary School, Balvadi, Aganwadi, Arts and Commerce colleges, law colleges, P.T.C. colleges, adults education classes, cradle house, night education classes, technical school .
- II. To provide the information of government schemes for the upliftment of backward and non backward classes and others.
- III. To organised different kind of the workshops, seminars, workshops, and training programs for the youth and women development in all the spheres.
- IV. To provide the information and arrange the entrepreneurship development program for the rural people so that the hidden potential of rural people can utilised.
- V. To do all the activities relating to the protection of environment.
- VI. To develop the brotherhood, national sentiment and social awareness in the young youth.
- VII. To start the self employment training class for educated men and women.
- VIII. To divert the young youth towards to develop the village and public activities.
- IX. To do all activities like leadership in young youth, training for development for young youth, discussion forum and career guidance.
- X. To do activities for village development through agriculture and horticulture activities, herbal plants and forest development.
- XI. To do all the activities which protects environment.

- NGO also has 80 G registration from Income Tax Department which gives 50% tax exemption to donors,if there is any more expectation other than this it could be negotiated further
